 Policy Research, Advocacy and Lobbying
PNNI sees its role in the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development (PCSD) as an advocate of policies that directly benefit the communities and those that protect the environment.
 
 
 Partnership in Local Governance
The Governance and Local Democracy (GOLD) Project, a USAID sponsored initiative harnesses the full capability of local government units of it’s devolved functions with people’s participation from the NGOs, POs and private sectors.
 
 Anti-Biopiracy Project
The PNNI in partnership with the South East Asian Research Institute for Community Education (SEARICE), strives to monitor plunder and theft of biological and genetic resource including indigenous knowledge.
 
 
 Health Partnerships
Through Indigenous Peoples’ Health Program (IPHP) and Integrated Community Health Services Project (ICHSP)-Lusog Lupon, PNNI realizes the importance of its active involvement on health issues towards healthy Palaweños.
 
 Survey Desk
With competitive data-gathering system and processing technology, PNNI engages in various social researches involving public opinion regarding different issues of preference with the entire province as maximum scope of coverage.
 
 Minewatch
As a center of mining advocacy and lobbying in Palawan, PNNI in partnership with Minewatch-Philippines' (Bantay-Mina), monitors all mining-related issues and concerns in the province.
